The Journey is more important than the destination
“Ordinary dogs have accomplished extraordinary things because they didn’t know they couldn’t.” In this quote, if we replace “dogs” with people, then I believe we can apply this philosophy to our personal everyday lives.
We’ve been taught since we were youngsters sitting in a school classroom, daydreaming about exploring the forests or swimming in nearby lakes, that our physical and mental capabilities are limited.
However, what if it wasn’t taught that we were bound by worldly physical and intellectual standards or limits? What if, as children, we were allowed to dream big and believe nothing was impossible to do or overcome?
Then, we would be ignorant of our limits. Granted, we would have failed miserably while attempting to build an airplane from junk lawnmowers collecting dust in the garage…but who knows?
